This session will be presented by current and former residents in Cardiopulmonary Section residencies for clinicians, individuals studying for the specialty boards, as well as current and former students. Residents will present interesting cases they have seen in their residencies and discuss the outcomes achieved as well as the evidence on treatment approaches for these patients. Each case will be followed by discussion/question and answer period.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Identify common threads in assessment and interventions for patients with Cardiopulmonary Section conditions and are interesting and different.
2. Discuss treatment interventions and evidence for these interventions for different cases.
3. Discuss similarities and differences in cases presented and compare and contrast the interventions used to achieve optimal results.
4. Identify current evidence on assessment and interventions and outcomes of patients with Cardiopulmonary Section dysfunction.
