Search across PTNow - APTA's multifaceted collection of evidence-based resources and custom content designed for physical therapy practitioners. APTA's PTNow librarian will walk you through searching across and inside the collections of clinical summaries, systematic reviews, clinical practice guidelines, functional outcome measures, evidence-based websites, literature databases, and more. After 2 hours you will walk away with knowledge guaranteed to help you find the research you need for your clinical practice. Attendees should have basic experience with database searching and bring their own devices for searching.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Search PTNow smartly for resources important to clinical practice.
2. Filter search results for more relevant results.
3. Locate and download resources like functional outcome measures, clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, case studies, G-codes, ICD domains, instructional videos, and more.
4. Use your "My PTNow" account to store frequently used resources.
